Sea-view Bedrooms
We are now proud to offer our guests some of the finest sea-view ensuite bedrooms in Whitby. All six of our major sea-view Double bedrooms have now been completely refurbished and include large Flat-screen TV’s, plus new shower rooms with extra-large Milano shower enclosures with the stylish, marble-effect, Terrano wetwall system throughout. Four of these rooms will also accommodate either cots or put-up beds, for small children.
Standard Bedrooms
We are able to offer our guests a variety of Standard rooms: Single, Double, Twin and Four-Poster bedrooms are available.
Our two Standard Loft bedrooms have sea-views, over the beach and harbour entrance, from Dormer windows.
Other rooms have views either, over the Cricket Club to the rear, or the Patio & Garden to the side.
Two of our Standard Double bedrooms have now been completely refurbished to the same high standard described above, whilst two Twin bedrooms have had completely new shower rooms added.
All remaining bedrooms currently have a small legacy en-suite shower & WC unit, with a sliding door & a washbasin in the bedroom.
Our refurbishment programme will continue throughout 2010/2011 with work beginning on more Standard bedrooms in November 2010. We aim is to have completed the refurbishment of all existing bedrooms, and replacement of the legacy shower units, by the beginning of the 2012 season.
All bedrooms have full central heating with thermostatic radiator valves, and are equipped with a Flat-screen TV, hairdryer, direct-dial telephone (offering secure internet access, if required), hospitality tray with tea & coffee, milk plus cups, saucers & electric kettle. Wireless internet and E-mail access is available, at no charge (subject to our fair usage policy), for guests.
A Vending machine in the Reception area provides an additional selection of confectionery, snacks & juices.
We also provide a number of small Budget rooms with the same facilities as a Double-Standard room but with a limited view. These rooms are also available for single occupancy, with a supplementary charge.
